Make-A-Wish Foundation is the official charity of the Coca - Cola Lisburn Half Marathon 2008.

Make-A-Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people living with life threatening illnesses. The charity was
founded in the UK in 1986 and since then has granted over 4,700 wishes. Northern Ireland has become one of the busiest
wishgranting regions in the UK. In 2007, 37 wishes were granted and this year's target is to make 50 wishes a reality for some very special children.
